Saadat Yar Khan runs the law firm of Saadat Yar Khan and Co. Attorney’s at Law in Karachi. He has worked as an advisor on various projects, including the drafting of Local Bodies Laws of NWFP.

From 2000–2007, Khan assisted Barrister Makhdoom Ali Khan and Justice Fazle-e-Ghani Khan in chambers on various legal assignments. Khan also appeared and conducted several cases with Barrister Kamal Azfar, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Khan’s experience includes appearing and conducting several cases in Banking Courts, NAB Court, District and Sessions Court and the High Court of Sindh, with special references to unauthorized and illegal construction of buildings, change in land use, lease grant conditions and the renewal cases of expired leases in the City District of Karachi.

He is a member of the Sindh Bar Council, High Court Bar Association, High Court of Sindh and the Karachi Bar Association.
