In 2000, Mumtaz was awarded a Token of Appreciation for bringing the biggest medical donation in the history of Pakistan. He was part of the business delegation of the Prime Minister of Pakistan to China.

Mumtaz is a certified international trainer on leadership and personal development, and has conducted a number of programs on Pakistan Television in the segment “Learn Leadership with Anwar Kashif Mumtaz”. He is a member of Junior Chamber International, a worldwide federation of young leaders and entrepreneurs.

He is a member of the Income Tax Association, Sindh Bar Council, and the Karachi Bar Association.
