Mr. Aga Zafar Ahmed is an Advocate High Court and practicing law, specializing in maritime and shipping law. Other areas of practice are taxation, corporate and commercial disputes. Partner of M/s Aga Faquir Mohammad & Co., Advocates, a registered partnership firm of lawyers registered with Sindh Bar Council.


Completed his LLB degree from S.M.Law College, Karachi with First class first position in the year 2003. I did my LLM in Maritime Laws from University of Southampton, UK. I have recently completed a diploma course in “International Arbitration Law” from College of Law of England & Wales, UK (85% scholarship from International Bar Association). I also hold diploma in Taxation laws from Dadabhoy Institute of Law, Karachi.

Mr. Aga started his professional career as Income Tax Practitioner since 2003 and appeared before all income tax authorities including Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) and conducted hundreds of cases before the ITAT.

A regularly attendee of national and international conferences and seminars, especially in areas of interest i.e. maritime law and taxation law. He is currently, perusing the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (UK) Professional Qualifying Course.
