He is the Chief Compliance Officer at PICIC, and was previously the Executive Manager at PICIC’s Management Institute where he was responsible for the training and development of PICIC employees as well as developing and leading key corporate training events for different departments in the organization.

Habib has 12 years of experience working at the National Development Finance Corporation (NDFC) where he started as Team Leader (Punjab) in Corporate Financing and rose to Chief Manager. At the NDFC Habib started two new branches, one at Lahore Cantt and the second in Islamabad. He was responsible for, among other things, the Issuance for Guarantees, Credit Administration, Assets Management, Legal Documentation, and the follow up for court cases and out of court settlements.

Habib did his Masters in Economics from the University of Karachi and his MBA from the University of Punjab. He holds a certificate course in Islamic banking and finance.

He has three daughters and enjoys spending his free time reading, listening to music, swimming and the performing arts.
