During his illustrious professional career, he has worked as the Commissioner of Income Tax with the Government of Pakistan, and with the Export Promotion Bureau and Agricultural Development Bank in the capacity of Assistant Director. He has also worked as a consultant for the Government, The World Bank and Tax Analysts Inc., USA. As a lawyer, his areas of expertise lie in taxation, corporate and finance laws. Aziz possesses postgraduate qualification in Corporate Law, Taxation Law, and Public Administration, and graduate degrees in Law, Economics and Sociology. He was accredited by CEDR in 2006.
