Asim Mansoor graduated from London Guildhall University in Business Law in 1995, after which he joined Mansoor Ahmed Khan and Co. and has been working there till now. At Mansoor Ahmed Khan and Co. he deals with matters in Banking, Corporate, Intellectual Property and other civil cases. The firm is however mainly engaged in cases relating to banking, leasing, and other financial matters, as well as civil matters such as constitutional petitions in taxation and rent cases.
While still in university Mansoor interned at Beale & Co. (Solicitors), London, where he acted as an assistant to solicitors where he helped in drafting and other legal work. He recently interned again at ICI Pakistan in the accounts department.
In 1996, Mansoor became a member of the Pakistan Bar Council, Sindh Bar Council and the Karachi Bar Association. The following year he became a member of the Income Tax Bar Association and in 1999 he was accepted as a member of the Sindh High Court Bar Association.
Mansoor recently went to Seoul to take part in the Seoul Intellectual Property Conference. He was a member of the Mansfield Law Club and arranged for professionals in the legal and financial sectors to give lectures, as well as arranging social events.
He is regularly plays golf and has a handicap of 5, he was asked to be part of the Sindh team in the All Pakistan Amateur Golf Championship in 1994.
