Zain Sheikh operates his own law firm which provides services in the spheres of law relating to Patents and Copyrights, Banking, Aviation, and Corporate and Constitutional matters.
He holds graduate qualification in Law and Commerce, and an LLM degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK.

For the past three decades, Zain has been associated with prominent law firms in Pakistan and the United States, and has practiced law in diverse fields. He has published extensively and is the author of a book on the Constitutional History of Pakistan. He has served as the Legal Advisor to the Ministry of Water and Power, Pakistan, and is a Senior Professor of Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence at the S.M. Law College, Karachi, since 1984. Zain was accredited by CEDR in 2006.
